Its just like a library, but instead of books, there's people and instead of reading, we share stories aloud. Simple!
Following on from our successful Human Library delivery at The Lowry in 2022 which engaged over 300 young people in 1 day, we were approached to run a larger version as part of Green Man Festival. This was a huge success - engaging a diverse range of ‘books’ from drag artists, to zoologists, musicians, artists and activists.
We engaged 750 festival-goers across the 3 day delivery, gaining feedback like:
‘This was really inspiring, beautiful and emotional – I’ll remember it always.’ and ‘I loved this experience because it really helps understand issues. Thank you for putting all these professionals together to share the knowledge’.
